Trey Nix

Trey Nix has run campaigns for candidates pursuing public office ranging from the State Senate to the U.S. House of Representatives to the U.S. Senate and everything in between. In 2014, he managed the re-election campaign for U.S. Senator Mark Warner. In 2016, he served as campaign manager for Roy Cooper's successful campaign for Governor in North Carolina. This victory made Governor Cooper the first challenger in the history of the state to win an election over an incumbent Governor. He most recently was the Campaign Director for the Democratic Governors Association, where he oversaw a campaign program that lead to the election of 7 new Democratic Governors. He was also the lead strategist in 2018 for Governor Cooper’s break the majority effort, breaking supermajorities in both the state house and state senate and helping elect 16 new legislators including 10 legislators in Trump voting districts.
